  • Our EMDR Basic Therapy Training is designed to equip clinicians with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for the effective and ethical implementation of EMDR therapy. Developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based approach to treating trauma and other distressing life experiences. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the history, development, and theoretical foundations of EMDR, including the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model.

The training covers all eight phases of EMDR therapy, from client assessment and case conceptualization to stabilization, desensitization, and re-evaluation. Clinicians will learn to conduct comprehensive client assessments, develop targeted treatment plans, and implement EMDR techniques to address traumatic memories, anxiety, depression, and other distressing life experiences. The training emphasizes client safety, stabilization, and self-regulation, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment. Additionally, participants will explore ethical considerations, cultural competence, and professional practice guidelines, with an emphasis on continuous supervision and professional development.
