For MINNESOTA Social Workers.
Looking for social work supervision?
Tia Wilcek is a Minnesota board approved social work supervisor.
I love supporting other professionals grow with exploration, brainstorming, problem solving. As a supervisor, I offer a space to be reflective, curious, and vulnerable. I have experience in various settings, including in-home case management, school-based therapy, outpatient mental health, individual and group psychotherapy, housing support for families and youth, and building a private practice.
Clinical Supervision for LGSW’s
Individual & Group
Are you looking for support as you navigate the clinical world of social work?
While supervision is a necessary part to obtaining licensure, its also space for you to deepen your understanding, integrate your education, and get curious with your clinical brain. It’s a space to get vulnerable, acknowledge challenges, and grow.
“We need to accept that we won’t always make the right decisions, that we’ll screw up royally sometimes - understanding that failure is not the opposite of success, it’s part of success.” — Arianna Huffington
I am an advocate for receiving supervision outside your place of employment. This is important to me because supervision is a space for you need to be ok with being vulnerable, have space to admit your mistakes, and an opportunity to work through some hard stuff without the fear of losing your job or disappointing your workplace manager.
I offer individual and group supervision available for Licensed Graduate Social Workers (LGSW) in Minnesota.
Some of the areas/topics that are focused on are your work with clients, professional development, ethical boundaries, therapist self exploration and growth, workplace challenges, private practice planning, and exam preparation.
