JENNA JOHNSON, LMFT

Therapist

I believe we’re all born wanting to connect — with others and with ourselves — and that when life gets in the way of those connections, it can leave us feeling stuck or disconnected. I value authenticity and takes a warm, holistic, and client-centered approach, meeting each person where they are and helping them move toward healing and growth.

What can you expect in a therapy room with me?

I recognize that it’s a true privilege to walk alongside my clients on their therapy journey — exploring their stories, understanding how they got to where they are today, and uncovering their most authentic selves. I walk with my clients as they discover their own path and find their own answers, and I am not afraid to gently challenge them along the way when it helps support deeper insight and lasting change.

I draw from CBT, DBT and systemic therapy to support teens, partners, and adults navigating life transitions, trauma, and relationship challenges. I bring a compassionate, collaborative energy to my sessions and strives to create a space where every client feels seen, accepted, and supported. Above all, I believe in the power of connection, resilience, and the possibility of change.

Fun facts about me:

I’m a houseplant enthusiast, vintage treasure hunter, and craft lover who enjoys turning something old into something new and meaningful. There’s something magical about breathing new life into forgotten items, and I love letting my creativity guide me in unexpected ways.

As a former two-sport college athlete, I value teamwork and resiliency—and I try to bring that same energy and adaptability into all areas of my life. I enjoy puzzles, games, and a little healthy competition, which keeps my mind sharp and my spirit engaged.

I also believe in the power of joy and laughter. People often tell me my laugh is contagious, and I love finding moments of humor and lightness in everyday life. Whether I’m exploring vintage shops, tending to my growing plant collection, crafting, or going on an adventure, I strive to approach life with curiosity, playfulness, and a sense of wonder.
