KELLY RYAN, LPCC

Therapist

Welcome!
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who believes in creating a safe, supportive space for clients to explore and grow. My approach is warm, empathetic, and rooted in a genuine belief in the power of therapy to foster positive change. Whether you are dealing with life transitions, trauma, or seeking personal growth, I am here to guide and support you on your journey. My work is informed by a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Together, we can explore ways to help you reconnect with yourself and your relationships in meaningful, lasting ways.

What can you expect in a therapy room with me?
In our time together, you can expect a structured yet flexible approach. I incorporate hands-on tools and techniques to help you integrate the therapeutic work into your daily life. Whether through traditional talk therapy, trauma-focused EMDR, or creative techniques, I strive to meet you where you are. Therapy with me is a collaborative process, and I focus on attunement—helping you learn how to be present in your body and in your relationships with others. My experience includes in-home family therapy, working with adults with intellectual disabilities, and therapy in a psychiatric Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program. I specialize in family therapy, individual therapy for adults and adolescents, parenting skills, trauma therapy, and EMDR. I aim to help you build skills and resilience that extend beyond our sessions.

Fun facts about me
When I'm not in the therapy room, you can find me working in my native prairie garden, where I cultivate a deep connection with nature. I find grounding and peace in nurturing plants and creating a haven for wildlife. I also spend time with my horse, Chance, whose companionship teaches me the value of being present in the moment. These activities help me recharge and bring a mindful, attuned presence to the work I do with my clients.
